collage1

use of layers to represent how history is a collection over time.
memories constantly overlapping one another.
how these memories and values shape who we are.

Save our trees, save our history!

Own work: Poster 1#
Making awareness about the Oak and Pohutakawa Trees on Rosebank Road.

Poster2#
Nowhere near as good as the poster above. Needs work, but okay for the moment. :)

The next step:

-Make them worth saving :)
-Need step is to make a survey, and then make a map that presents this data.
-Maps of the area - community involvement, where things are now, where they used to be. How have things changed over the years? Has the division between industrial and residential always been this way?
-Photograph the hidden beauties around this space - areas that are unknown to the public - map these.
-Interview the oldies - gain an understanding of what it used to be like back in the days - retell their stories - make people appreciate this space through the use of historical moments + tales.
